Branch Manager – Mariappa Nadar (Samsung & Himalaya Wellness Showroom) Mariappa Nadar is looking for an experienced and target-oriented Branch Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Samsung & Himalaya Wellness showroom in Madurai. The Branch Manager will be responsible for managing showroom performance, leading the sales team, achieving revenue targets, maintaining inventory and visual standards, handling customer escalations, and executing promotional activities. Key Responsibilities Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the showroom. Lead, supervise, and motivate the showroom sales and support team. Set daily and monthly sales objectives and ensure achievement of branch targets. Monitor individual staff performance and provide regular guidance and feedback. Drive sales through effective customer engagement, product presentation, upselling, and cross-selling. Ensure customers receive a professional and consistent showroom experience. Handle important customer enquiries, complaints, and escalations. Ensure accurate billing, cash handling, collections, and daily sales reporting. Monitor stock availability, product movement, replenishment, and inventory accuracy. Coordinate with suppliers, distributors, accounts, and other internal teams as required. Ensure Samsung and Himalaya Wellness products are properly displayed and promoted. Plan and execute local promotions, campaigns, offers, and showroom activities. Track sales performance, customer enquiries, conversion rates, and other key branch metrics. Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly branch performance reports. Maintain showroom cleanliness, product presentation, merchandising, and operational standards. Ensure company policies, processes, and customer-service standards are followed. Identify opportunities to increase footfall, sales, repeat customers, and local market presence. Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of showroom staff when required. Requirements 1–3 years of experience in retail, showroom, branch, or store management preferred. Experience managing a sales team and achieving sales targets. Strong understanding of retail sales and customer service. Experience with consumer electronics, wellness products, appliances, lifestyle products, or similar retail categories is an advantage. Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong sales planning and team-management abilities. Comfortable working with daily sales reports and basic performance metrics. Basic knowledge of POS, billing, inventory, and MS Excel. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to handle customer escalations professionally. Target-oriented, organized, and capable of taking ownership of branch performance. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate should be a hands-on retail leader who can manage both people and numbers. We are looking for someone who can motivate the sales team, improve showroom conversions, maintain operational discipline, and take ownership of achieving the branch's monthly sales objectives. Experience managing a multi-category showroom or consumer retail store will be an added advantage.
