Fashion Consultant – Date The Ramp Date The Ramp is looking for a fashion-focused and customer-oriented Fashion Consultant to join our retail team in Jayanagar, Bengaluru. The ideal candidate should have experience in fashion retail, styling, boutique sales, or premium customer service, with a strong understanding of fashion trends and the ability to provide personalized styling recommendations. The role combines fashion expertise with sales and customer relationship management. Key Responsibilities Welcome customers and provide a warm, personalized shopping experience. Understand each customer's style preferences, occasion, requirements, and budget. Provide personalized fashion and styling recommendations based on the customer's needs. Help customers select outfits, accessories, colours, fabrics, and coordinated looks. Explain product details, fit, styling options, pricing, and available offers. Stay updated on current fashion trends, seasonal collections, colours, fabrics, and styling techniques. Build strong and lasting relationships with customers to encourage repeat purchases and referrals. Achieve assigned individual sales targets and contribute to overall store revenue. Convert walk-in enquiries into sales through effective consultation and product presentation. Follow up with prospective and existing customers regarding new collections, special occasions, and promotions. Maintain strong knowledge of products, collections, sizes, pricing, and inventory availability. Assist in maintaining attractive product displays and an organized showroom. Handle customer queries and concerns professionally and ensure a high-quality shopping experience. Support the store team with daily operations, merchandising, stock coordination, and other sales activities. Maintain customer records and follow up on leads where required. Requirements Proven experience in fashion retail, styling, boutique sales, apparel, or premium retail is preferred. Strong knowledge of fashion, styling, colours, fabrics, and current trends. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong customer consultation and relationship-building abilities. Confident in recommending products and closing sales. Proven ability to achieve sales targets. Good understanding of customer needs and buying behaviour. Well-presented, confident, and professional in customer interactions. Strong attention to detail and a good sense of style. Basic computer/POS knowledge is an advantage. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who combines fashion knowledge with strong sales ability. The ideal candidate should be confident in styling customers, passionate about fashion, comfortable working with different customer profiles, and capable of turning a consultation into a successful sale while building long-term client relationships. Candidates with experience in premium fashion, boutique, occasion wear, designer wear, or luxury retail will have an added advantage. Compensation & Employment Salary: ₹21,000 – ₹35,000 per month Full-time Morning Shift Location: Jayanagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka
