Jewellery Section Cashier – JVR Retails Private Limited JVR Retails Private Limited is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Jewellery Section Cashier to manage billing, cash handling, payment processing, and daily financial reconciliation at our jewellery retail store in Kothapet, Hyderabad. The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling transactions accurately, maintaining billing records, and coordinating with the sales and accounts teams in a jewellery retail environment. Key Responsibilities Handle daily cash, card, UPI, and other payment transactions accurately. Prepare customer bills and invoices for jewellery purchases. Verify payment amounts and ensure all transactions are properly recorded. Manage cash collections and maintain adequate change at the billing counter. Perform daily cash counting and reconciliation with billing/POS records. Identify and report any cash or billing discrepancies to the supervisor. Maintain accurate records of daily collections, payments, refunds, and adjustments. Prepare and submit daily collection and cash reconciliation reports. Process customer refunds or cancellations according to company policies. Coordinate with sales staff to ensure correct product details, pricing, discounts, and billing information. Handle customer queries related to billing, payments, invoices, and receipts professionally. Maintain confidentiality and security of cash, financial records, and customer information. Support the accounts team with collection summaries and transaction documentation. Ensure the billing counter and related records are organized and maintained properly. Follow all company procedures relating to cash handling, billing, approvals, and financial controls. Requirements Previous experience as a Cashier, Billing Executive, Accounts Assistant, or Retail Cashier is preferred. Experience in jewellery, retail, showroom, or other high-value transaction environments will be an advantage. Strong numerical and calculation skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Familiarity with POS/billing software and digital payment methods. Ability to handle cash and multiple payment modes responsibly. Good communication and customer-service skills. Basic knowledge of Excel and daily reconciliation is preferred. Honest, dependable, and comfortable handling confidential financial information. Ability to work efficiently in a busy retail environment. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate should be highly accurate, trustworthy, organized, and customer-friendly. Experience handling high-value retail transactions or jewellery billing will be an added advantage. Employment Details Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹21,000 per month Full-time Morning Shift Location: Kothapet, Hyderabad, Telangana
