Job Description

We are looking for a friendly and customer-focused Optical Sales Assistant to join our optical division in Kuniyamuthur, Coimbatore. The role involves assisting customers with eyewear selection, explaining product options, supporting showroom sales, and ensuring a comfortable and professional customer experience. Candidates with experience in optical retail, eyewear sales, retail sales, or customer service are preferred. Freshers with good communication skills and an interest in optical products may also apply. Key Responsibilities Welcome customers and understand their eyewear requirements and preferences. Assist customers in selecting suitable spectacles, frames, sunglasses, and other optical products. Explain product features, styles, materials, pricing, and available options. Help customers compare frames and recommend products based on their needs and budget. Provide a friendly and personalized shopping experience. Handle showroom enquiries and support the sales process from product selection to billing. Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall showroom performance. Maintain proper product displays and ensure frames and optical products are clean and well organized. Assist with stock arrangement, product tagging, replenishment, and basic inventory activities. Coordinate with opticians and other team members when required for customer requirements or orders. Maintain accurate customer and sales records. Handle customer questions and concerns professionally. Stay updated on new eyewear collections, products, offers, and promotions. Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and customer-ready at all times. Follow company policies and maintain professional standards of customer service. Requirements Freshers are welcome to apply. Prior experience in optical retail, eyewear, showroom sales, or general retail is an advantage. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Friendly, patient, and customer-oriented approach. Interest in learning about eyewear, frames, lenses, and optical products. Good product-presentation and convincing skills. Basic computer knowledge is an advantage. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Target-oriented and willing to learn. Candidates residing in or around Kuniyamuthur/Coimbatore are preferred.
