Optical Store Manager – Lensight India Pvt Ltd Lensight India Pvt Ltd is looking for an experienced and customer-focused Optical Store Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of our optical retail store in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The ideal candidate should have experience in optical retail, eyewear sales, showroom management, or a similar retail environment, with strong skills in team management, customer service, sales, inventory control, and store operations. Key Responsibilities Manage the daily operations of the optical retail store and ensure smooth showroom functioning. Lead, supervise, and motivate the store team to achieve sales and customer-service targets. Welcome customers and understand their eyewear requirements, preferences, and budget. Assist customers in selecting suitable spectacle frames, sunglasses, lenses, and other optical products. Explain lens options, frame features, pricing, offers, and product benefits clearly to customers. Coordinate appropriate eye-test services and ensure customers are guided through the required process. Drive individual and store-level sales performance and achieve monthly revenue targets. Monitor enquiries, customer follow-ups, conversions, and repeat business. Handle customer concerns and ensure timely and professional resolution. Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels, product movement, and replenishment. Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams regarding stock, orders, deliveries, and pending customer requirements. Ensure accurate billing, order processing, and timely delivery of eyewear. Maintain showroom cleanliness, product displays, merchandising, and overall store presentation. Monitor staff attendance, grooming, discipline, and adherence to company policies. Prepare regular reports on sales, inventory, customer orders, and store performance. Monitor local market trends and competitor activity and suggest initiatives to improve store sales. Ensure a high-quality customer experience throughout the complete purchase journey. Requirements Experience in optical retail, eyewear sales, showroom management, or retail store management is preferred. Strong understanding of optical products such as frames, lenses, sunglasses, and related accessories is an advantage. Proven ability to achieve sales targets and improve store performance. Experience managing and motivating a retail sales team. Strong customer-service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Good sales, negotiation, and customer-conversion abilities. Knowledge of inventory management, billing, and POS systems. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple customer and operational requirements simultaneously. Professional appearance and customer-oriented approach. Candidates with experience in optical chains, eyewear stores, or healthcare retail will be preferred. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a hands-on retail leader who can balance sales performance, team management, inventory control, and customer satisfaction. Candidates who have previously worked as an Optical Store Manager, Store Manager, Optical Sales Manager, Retail Manager, or Senior Optical Sales Executive are encouraged to apply. Compensation & Employment Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹40,000 per month Full-time Morning Shift Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka
