Job Description

We are looking for a confident, customer-focused, and sales-oriented Retail Sales Executive to join our Joyalukkas showroom in Erode. The role involves assisting customers in selecting jewellery, explaining product details and quality, achieving sales targets, and providing an excellent showroom experience. Candidates with prior experience in jewellery sales, retail sales, fashion, or premium showroom sales are preferred. Candidates with strong communication skills and a passion for customer service and sales are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Welcome customers and understand their jewellery requirements, preferences, occasion, and budget. Assist customers in selecting suitable gold, diamond, silver, and other jewellery products. Explain product details such as design, metal type, purity, weight, craftsmanship, pricing, making charges, and applicable offers accurately. Present products confidently and help customers compare designs and options. Build strong customer relationships and provide a personalized shopping experience. Achieve assigned individual and showroom sales targets. Follow up with prospective and existing customers to generate repeat and referral business. Handle customer enquiries, product questions, and concerns professionally. Support customers throughout the purchase process, from product selection to billing and delivery. Maintain accurate customer and sales records. Assist with daily stock checking, product arrangement, tagging, and inventory procedures. Ensure jewellery displays are attractive, organized, and maintained according to showroom standards. Coordinate with billing and other showroom teams to ensure smooth customer transactions. Stay updated on new jewellery collections, designs, promotions, and offers. Maintain a professional appearance and follow showroom security and operational procedures. Contribute to a positive, professional, and target-driven showroom environment. Requirements Prior experience in jewellery sales, retail sales, showroom sales, fashion, or premium retail is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Customer-focused approach with confidence in face-to-face sales. Good product presentation, negotiation, and convincing skills. Ability to understand customer needs and recommend suitable products. Target-oriented with strong follow-up and sales-closing abilities. Basic computer and billing/POS knowledge is an advantage. Good attention to detail when handling product and customer information. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Ability to work effectively as part of a showroom sales team. Experience with gold, diamond, silver, or luxury jewellery will be an added advantage.
