Job Description

We are looking for a confident, customer-focused, and sales-oriented Retail Sales Executive to join our Joyalukkas showroom in Tiruppur. The role involves assisting customers in selecting jewellery, explaining product features and quality, achieving sales targets, and delivering an excellent showroom experience. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a professional approach, and an interest in jewellery retail. Candidates with prior experience in jewellery, retail, fashion, or premium showroom sales will have an advantage. Key Responsibilities Welcome customers and understand their jewellery requirements, preferences, occasion, and budget. Assist customers in selecting suitable jewellery products based on their needs and preferences. Explain jewellery details such as design, metal, purity, weight, craftsmanship, making charges, pricing, and applicable offers accurately. Present products confidently and help customers compare different designs and options. Build strong relationships with customers and provide a personalized shopping experience. Achieve assigned individual and showroom sales targets. Follow up with prospective and existing customers to generate repeat and referral business. Handle customer enquiries, product-related questions, and concerns professionally. Support customers throughout the purchase process, from product selection to billing and delivery. Maintain accurate sales and customer records. Assist with daily stock checking, product arrangement, tagging, and showroom inventory procedures. Ensure jewellery displays are attractive, organized, and maintained according to showroom standards. Coordinate with billing and other showroom teams to ensure smooth customer transactions. Stay updated on new collections, jewellery designs, promotions, and company offers. Maintain a professional appearance and follow all showroom security, operational, and customer-service procedures. Contribute to a positive and target-driven showroom environment. Requirements Prior experience in jewellery sales, retail sales, showroom sales, fashion, or premium retail is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Customer-focused and confident in handling face-to-face sales. Good product presentation, convincing, and negotiation skills. Ability to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products. Target-oriented with strong follow-up and sales-closing abilities. Basic computer and billing/POS knowledge is an advantage. Good attention to detail when handling product information and customer transactions. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Ability to work effectively as part of a showroom sales team. Candidates with experience in gold jewellery, diamond jewellery, silver jewellery, or luxury retail will be preferred.
