Job Description

Sales and Support Executive D Mart is looking for a customer-focused and responsible Sales and Support Executive to support day-to-day supermarket operations in Coimbatore. Candidates with 0–5 years of experience can apply. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, be comfortable assisting customers, and be willing to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Key Responsibilities: Welcome customers and assist them with product-related queries. Understand customer requirements and guide them to the appropriate products or sections. Provide friendly and professional customer service throughout the shopping experience. Explain product details, prices, offers, and promotions when required. Support sales activities and contribute towards store sales targets. Assist customers with product availability, exchanges, and basic service-related queries. Arrange and replenish products on shelves while maintaining proper product displays. Check product labels, prices, and basic stock availability. Assist with stock counting and inventory-related activities. Keep assigned store areas clean, organized, and customer-friendly. Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth day-to-day store operations. Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate issues to the appropriate supervisor when required. Follow company procedures related to customer service, product handling, safety, and store operations. Requirements: 0–5 years of experience in retail, supermarket, sales, or customer service. Freshers are welcome to apply. Good communication and customer-handling skills. Friendly, helpful, and service-oriented attitude. Basic understanding of retail sales and store operations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer/POS knowledge is an advantage. Good teamwork, punctuality, and willingness to learn.
