Sales Executive (Showroom)

Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Executive to join our furniture showroom in Tiruppur. The ideal candidate will assist customers in selecting suitable furniture, explain product features and options, generate sales, and provide an excellent showroom experience. Freshers and candidates with up to 3 years of experience are welcome to apply. Prior experience in furniture, retail, showroom, home décor, or customer-facing sales will be an advantage. Key Responsibilities Welcome customers and understand their furniture requirements, preferences, and budget. Explain product features, specifications, materials, designs, pricing, and available options. Recommend suitable furniture products based on customer needs. Conduct effective product demonstrations and showroom presentations. Handle walk-in enquiries and convert prospects into sales. Follow up with customers through calls and messages to close pending enquiries. Generate new sales opportunities through customer referrals and other channels. Achieve assigned monthly sales and revenue targets. Prepare quotations and assist customers throughout the purchase process. Maintain strong relationships with customers and encourage repeat and referral business. Coordinate with billing, delivery, logistics, and installation teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment. Maintain accurate records of customer enquiries, follow-ups, quotations, and sales. Keep up to date with new products, designs, promotions, and offers. Handle customer questions and concerns professionally. Maintain proper product displays and ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and customer-ready. Work closely with the showroom team to achieve overall sales goals. Requirements Freshers to 3 years of experience in sales, retail, showroom, or customer service. Prior experience in furniture, home décor, interiors, or retail sales is an advantage. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Confident and comfortable interacting with customers. Strong interest in sales and customer service. Good follow-up, negotiation, and convincing skills. Target-oriented and willing to learn. Basic computer knowledge.
