Senior Fashion Consultant – Pinklay Pinklay is seeking an experienced and fashion-forward Senior Fashion Consultant to join our retail team in Nungambakkam, Chennai. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in fashion retail, personal styling, and customer relationship management, with the ability to deliver exceptional shopping experiences while consistently achieving individual and store sales targets. As a Senior Fashion Consultant, you will act as a style advisor to customers, helping them select outfits and accessories that suit their preferences, occasions, and personal style while representing the brand's fashion identity. Key Responsibilities Provide personalized fashion and styling consultations to customers. Understand customer preferences, body types, occasions, and budgets to recommend suitable products. Build strong customer relationships and deliver a premium shopping experience. Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall store performance. Stay updated on current fashion trends, seasonal collections, fabrics, and styling techniques. Cross-sell and upsell products to maximize customer satisfaction and sales value. Assist customers in coordinating outfits, accessories, and complete fashion looks. Handle customer enquiries, reservations, and special requests professionally. Maintain detailed knowledge of product collections, pricing, promotions, and new arrivals. Support visual merchandising and ensure products are displayed according to brand standards. Assist in maintaining showroom presentation, cleanliness, and product organization. Build a loyal customer base through repeat business and relationship management. Support store events, promotional campaigns, and collection launches. Mentor junior sales associates and share product and styling knowledge when required. Provide feedback on customer preferences, market trends, and product performance to management. Requirements Proven experience in fashion retail, premium retail, boutique sales, or fashion consulting. Strong understanding of fashion trends, styling principles, fabrics, colours, and garment coordination. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets. Passion for fashion and customer service. Ability to provide confident styling recommendations and fashion advice. Strong relationship-building and customer-retention skills. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Experience with luxury, designer, ethnic, or premium fashion brands will be an added advantage.
