Store Executive – The Indian Ethnic Co. The Indian Ethnic Co. is looking for a customer-focused and energetic Store Executive to join our retail team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The ideal candidate will assist customers with ethnic-wear selection, provide personalized product recommendations, support sales targets, and ensure the showroom is well organized and welcoming. Candidates with prior retail sales, fashion, apparel, or customer-service experience are preferred. Key Responsibilities Welcome customers and provide a warm and professional shopping experience. Understand customer preferences, requirements, occasions, and budget. Assist customers in selecting suitable ethnic wear, apparel, and accessories. Explain product details such as fabric, design, size, fit, colour, and pricing. Recommend coordinated outfits and suitable products based on customer needs. Support the team in achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets. Convert walk-in enquiries into sales through effective product presentation and customer engagement. Build positive relationships with customers and encourage repeat visits and referrals. Maintain attractive and organized product displays throughout the store. Ensure products are properly arranged by category, size, colour, and collection. Assist with stock checking, replenishment, product tagging, and inventory organization. Support billing, order processing, and other store activities when required. Handle customer questions and basic complaints professionally. Keep the showroom clean, organized, and aligned with brand presentation standards. Stay updated on new collections, promotions, product availability, and seasonal trends. Coordinate with other store team members to ensure smooth daily operations. Requirements Prior experience in retail sales, fashion, apparel, ethnic wear, boutique, or customer service is preferred. Freshers with strong communication skills and a positive attitude may also be considered. Good customer-handling and interpersonal skills. Strong interest in fashion, ethnic wear, and styling. Ability to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products. Comfortable working towards sales targets. Good communication and basic sales skills. Basic computer/POS knowledge is an advantage. Tamil/Kannada/Hindi communication skills are an advantage; basic English is preferred. Well-groomed, punctual, reliable, and professional in customer interactions. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. A candidate who can confidently interact with customers, understand their style requirements, recommend the right products, and contribute to store sales will be a strong fit for this role. Employment Details Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month Full-time Morning Shift Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka
