Textile Store Manager – SIMCO FIRM Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu Job Type: Full Time | Permanent Shift: Morning Shift Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹40,000 per month Experience: 2–5 years in retail, textile, apparel, or showroom operations Job Description SIMCO FIRM is looking for an experienced and responsible Textile Store Manager to oversee daily showroom operations, manage the sales team, drive sales performance, and ensure an excellent customer shopping experience. The ideal candidate should have strong retail management skills and a good understanding of textile or apparel products. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of the textile showroom. Supervise, guide, and motivate sales staff to achieve individual and store-level targets. Monitor daily sales, revenue, and overall store performance. Set sales goals and implement strategies to improve store sales. Assist customers with product selection and ensure excellent customer service. Handle customer queries, feedback, and complaints professionally. Ensure proper visual merchandising and attractive product displays. Monitor stock levels, incoming and outgoing inventory, and product availability. Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams for timely stock replenishment. Ensure proper billing, cash handling, and adherence to store procedures. Maintain showroom cleanliness, presentation, and operational standards. Prepare and review daily/weekly sales and inventory reports. Train new employees and support the team in improving product knowledge and sales skills. Ensure company policies and customer service standards are consistently followed. Requirements 2–5 years of experience in retail, textile, apparel, fashion, or showroom management. Previous experience in a Store Manager / Showroom Manager / Retail Supervisor role will be an advantage. Strong communication and customer-handling skills. Good leadership and team-management abilities. Ability to achieve sales targets and manage store performance. Good knowledge of textile products and retail sales processes. Basic computer knowledge for sales, inventory, and reporting activities. Ability to handle customer concerns and resolve issues effectively. Tamil communication skills are preferred; basic English communication would be an advantage. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate should be confident, organized, customer-focused, and target-oriented, with the ability to manage a retail team while maintaining smooth showroom operations. Experience in textile or apparel retail will be highly preferred.
